Systematic Literature Reviews are thorough and extensive reviews aiming to identify and assess all published literature on a topic of interest. Publications are screened at the abstract level by two researchers independently and any differences reconciled by the project manager or leader. The full text papers of all relevant studies are then retrieved for data extraction. The results are summarised in a detailed report suitable for a regulatory submission or journal publication.
Crystallise’s Evidence Mapper allows the quick and accurate dissemination of all the information on a topic based on the abstracts of relevant papers. This can be used as an intermediate step prior to full-text assessment and data extraction within a full systematic review.
